Being held in bondage remotely?

I was trying to think of a way to do bondage remotely. Basically, all you need is handcuffs and a combination lock (the type with the resettable combination). It works like this: You put both cuffs on one wrist. You take a combination lock, put the cuff's chain through it, and put the lock around some immovable object, say a pole or a part of the bed. You then set the combination, send it to the other person, and don't keep or write it down yourself. Thus, you're fully locked in until the other person lets you out. You wouldn't even need the key near you because the cuffs aren't really keeping you locked to the object, the lock is. What do you think about the idea? I've been wanting to test it out for a while but haven't been able to find anyone who I could do it with.
