One GP died. Worried for the other GP. What should I do? Experts please. TQ?

My female GP just died. I suspect either ear infection or pneumonia or both. took to two vets. they don't know how to diagnose guinea pigs. and therefore i had to see my female GP die. Anyway, I let the male GP "kiss" the female GP a few hours before she died. Is the bacteria passed on? What should I do now??? The vets don't know anything about guinea pigs.
