Two parking tickets at the same time?

Today I stopped my car near an intersection which is marked by red zone. I admit that I deserve for a ticket. But I received two tickets: one for parking near an intersection, the other for parking in red zone, and they are given at the same time, resulting in $175+ $175 in total! I think there is some redundancy. If I contest the charge(s), is it likely that I can beat at least one of the tickets?
