Cross adapter for Ps3 (for using xbox 360 controller on the Ps3), any good?

I read that the dualshock3 is not good when playing fps games, compared to xbox controller. I also read that there is a cross adapter that enables a wired xbox 360 controller to be used with the Ps3. Anyone out there who has been using this, would you kindly give feedback in terms of accuracy, responsiveness, lagging, games compatibility etc. Tq
